R.Power is developing a portfolio of battery energy storage systems (BESS) totaling 650 MW in Poland. The company plans to install three projects in the country with a combined capacity of 2,300 MWh.

According to the company, this represents one of the largest energy storage pipelines in Central and Eastern Europe to date. Named Jedwabno, Tursko and Gdansk, each project secured a 17-year contract in Poland’s capacity market auction held last year.

Jedwabno is expected to be operational by the end of 2025, while Tursko and Gdansk are scheduled to come online between 2028 and 2029.
