Axial strengthens its expansion strategy in the Middle East by joining MESIA
Axial, Europe's leading solar tracker supplier by shipment volume in 2025 according to both Wood Mackenzie and S&P Global Commodity Insights, has joined the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) as a Corporate Member, reinforcing its commitment to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as a strategic region within the company's international growth strategy.
The membership represents another step in Axial's global expansion roadmap, aimed at strengthening its presence in high-potential renewable energy markets while fostering closer collaboration with regional industry stakeholders.
The Middle East and North Africa are becoming one of the world's most dynamic utility-scale solar markets. Driven by ambitious energy transition targets, significant investment in renewable infrastructure and exceptional solar resources, the region is expected to play a key role in the next phase of global photovoltaic deployment. Joining MESIA enables Axial to actively engage with the region's leading solar ecosystem.
As the principal non-profit association for the solar industry in the MENA region, MESIA brings together developers, EPC contractors, manufacturers, investors, utilities and policymakers to promote solar energy through collaboration, knowledge sharing, market intelligence and industry advocacy.
"The Middle East is a strategic market for Axial and an important part of our international growth strategy," said José Luis Fayos, CEO of Axial. "Joining MESIA allows us to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the region, gain valuable market insight and contribute to the continued growth of the solar industry." With more than two decades of experience delivering solar tracking solutions across Europe, the Americas and other international markets, Axial continues to expand its global footprint while supporting customers with highperformance technology tailored to the needs of each project and market.
Becoming part of MESIA reinforces the company's long-term commitment to the MENA region and marks another milestone in Axial's strategy to support the global energy transition through innovation, local partnerships and sustainable growth.
