Innovation with HJT technology: Risen Energy impressed at Intersolar 2024
Risen Energy was present at Intersolar 2024, the largest international solar energy trade fair, where Daniel Martínez, Managing Director of the company, highlighted the company's firm commitment to HJT (Heterojunction) technology, a fundamental pillar of its competitive strategy.
According to Martínez, HJT technology represents a significant evolution in the manufacture of solar cells, offering a unique combination of high efficiency, low degradation and better performance in extreme conditions, positioning itself as a promising solution for the future of solar energy
For the company's Managing Director, while other competitors have significantly increased their production capacities, Risen Energy has decided to bet on a technology that it considers advanced and with great future potential.
The expert stated: "Risen has opted for HJT technology to differentiate itself from our competitors, who have expanded their production capacities. We believe that we have made the right decision in betting on this technology, looking beyond the near future".
What's new at Intersolar 2024
From Risen Energy, this new edition of Intersolar Europe witnessed Hyper-ion heterojunction (HJT) modules with which the company has achieved a maximum power (Pmax) of 767.38 Wp and a conversion efficiency of 24.7%.
Martínez pointed out that "HJT technology offers a very wide range, surpassing other technologies in terms of efficiency and sustainability. We guarantee that our modules will maintain more than 90% of their capacity beyond 2030, in addition to having a lower temperature coefficient and a lower carbon footprint than other technologies."
Global expansion and European focus
Risen Energy is not only committed to the large Latin American markets, but also to Europe. Currently, Germany is its main market on the continent, followed closely by Spain, Poland, Italy and France. "Risen is present in virtually all European markets where there is demand, backed by a solid structure in Europe that supports our numbers," Martinez said.
Vision on sustainability and the industry
In addition, the Managing Director stressed that Risen Energy is leading the technological transition towards sustainability, betting heavily on HJT technology, while its competitors are starting to adopt this strategy. "We feel very comfortable with our decision, as we believe we have been right to lead this transition," he said.
Challenges and future of the industry
As for the challenges facing the industry, the expert mentioned the need to invest in infrastructure and grids, with special emphasis on smart grids. He also highlighted the importance of energy storage, where Risen Energy has a significant presence in the U.S., also with several projects in Spain together with important companies.
Finally, Martinez noted that financing and regulation also need to be addressed urgently. "Financing remains a challenge, and banks are finding it difficult to start up without proper regulation, which represents a risk for them. It is crucial that clear regulations are put in place to facilitate access to finance," he concluded.
Risen Energy continues to establish itself as a leader in the solar industry through its commitment to HJT technology and its focus on sustainability. With an expanding global presence and a strong commitment to innovation, the company is positioning itself as a key player in the transition to cleaner and more efficient energy.
