International joint venture launched to accelerate offshore projects worldwide
Empire Energy and Ellevo Group Announce Strategic Joint Venture to Enhance Offshore Wind Lifting & Transport Consulting Services
The joint venture was established in July 2025 to meet rising demand in the offshore wind industry across the UK, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
This collaboration combines Empire’s hands-on operational expertise with Ellevo’s technical engineering excellence to optimize project execution in heavy lifting and transport consultancy.
Operating under the name Empire Energy–Ellevo (e³), the joint venture provides coordinated solutions for lifting and heavy transport operations throughout the entire lifecycle of offshore wind projects. This includes everything from pre-FEED and FEED studies to preparation, pre?assembly, commissioning, and operations & maintenance, integrating engineering assurance with on-the-ground delivery experience.
The joint venture focuses on supporting clients with early-stage constructability assessments, lift planning, lift operations management, inspection and verification, third-party verification, and specialized consulting services. By combining Ellevo’s engineering precision with Empire’s field delivery know-how, the collaboration is structured to enhance planning certainty, mitigate operational risk, and increase efficiency in complex offshore wind programs.
