QBI continues to grow and consolidates its Business Management Platform as a key element in the digitalization of the sector

QBI, the company dedicated to develop the best in class business management platform, as a single-source-of-truth, strengthened and boosted its good position in the sector thanks to its participation in the Intersolar Europe event, where it had the opportunity to consolidate the relationship with existing clients, in addition to exploring and moving forward with new opportunities given the great acceptance of the new prospects.

This success at Intersolar Europe is no accident. As Santiago Estrada, CEO of QBI, explained to Review Energy, the company's goal is to create a unique, excellent product that "solves the challenge of all the teams working in unison and collaborating with each other". "We wanted to create a unique product with a lot of robustness that solves the challenges and problems during the complete lifecycle of a project, and today we can say we have that product," he said.

This ambitious goal is being achieved through three challenges. The first is the technological challenge, since, as a technology company specialising in renewables, "we are going to be listening to the market and always bringing those solutions and innovations that it will need", according to Estrada.  Secondly, the growth challenge, which aims to grow in geographical areas where they are already established, such as the United States and Europe, and to expand into other territories such as Latin America. Finally, Estrada highlighted the qualified team that makes up QBI, formed by the best talent to "grow and do great things, fast and well".

On this subject, Miquel Yafari, the company's new CRO, stressed to Review Energy the importance of that talent within the team and that vision of the future of wanting to solve customers' problems, seeking long-term relationships to continue understanding and accompanying them. "We will continue to listen actively and very closely to continue to understand what the challenges are in the short, medium and long term; and we will do this by understanding very well the products and services we develop," Yafari explained.

Putting technology at the service of business in the renewable energy sector

Alejandro Crespo, CTO of QBI, spoke about the challenge of data management and why the company differentiates itself from other companies in the sector. "Data processing is not only a challenge, it is an added value that we give to companies," Crespo said.

"We not only collect data from all the phases a project goes through within a company, but we relate that data at the moment we collect it. Any data source we detect, we put it into our model and relate it to everything else so that clients can exploit that data relationship in an easy and comprehensive way. So they can measure different things, but in a way that is already pre-linked and has an intelligence behind it that our team has put into it," Crespo told Review Energy.

This development of technology at the forefront of the sector, the concern for the human team and the objectives of reaching more international markets have meant that its participation in Intersolar has been very well received by the sector and has allowed the objectives to continue to develop in the very near future.
