Thomas Pettersen, VP of Asset Management Solutions at TGS Prediktor, said in an interview with Review Energy during Intersolar Europe, that the company has been in business since 1995 but now "the focus is now on energy, especially renewables and Asset Management Solutions. We use our decades of experience with industrial digitization to enable our clients data-driven operations and optimisation of their asset portfolios". Pettersen added that "now Prediktor being part of TGS can utilize many competencies that TGS had in data management and data sets".

With a clear commitment to evolution in the renewable market, the company introduced during Intersolar Europe a completely new version of the PowerView™ asset management solution for renewable assets, which includes advanced plant SCADA.

"With PowerView™ we have had good feedback from the people who have seen it and we have been able to show them what the system is for. It's a completely new interface, all you see is a data visualisation and the analytical capabilities, it's all new, we've spent a lot of time trying to be empathetic to the user experience and getting insight into what users really want to see from the system and how they would like to use it," said the company's VP of Asset Management Solutions.

According to him, the new version of PowerView™ also has new capabilities to do analytics on the data it collects, from the plant level down to string level. "I think what we offer is unique from detecting data flow errors to measuring production losses, because what we want to do is reduce losses as much as possible," he added.

Following the interview with Review Energy, the VP of Asset Management Solutions revealed that the team is already working on further updates to PowerView™ and that very soon the company will introduce more features available to help customers succeed in their portfolio management and O&M activities.
