Uniper Renewables: accelerating Europe’s energy transition

Despite a challenging regulatory and market landscape, global investment in clean energy reached record levels in 2025. Energy security and affordability are increasingly shaping national priorities, reshuffling how renewable projects are evaluated and deployed.

With a strategic focus on developing wind, solar, and collocated storage solutions, Uniper Renewables is executing an ambitious rollout of renewable capacity across Europe. Uniper aims to build a portfolio of up to 8 GW of ready-to-build capacity by 2030, with core markets including Germany, the UK & Ireland, France, Italy, and Poland. In 2025 alone, more than 568 MW of capacity received investment approval.

Currently, 11 projects are in execution, with the first scheduled to become operational this year. Collectively, these projects demonstrate Uniper’s expanding footprint and its ability to deliver bankable, grid-integrated renewable assets across Europe.

Uniper stands out not only as a developer, but also as a long-term partner, offering:

· Investment opportunities in de-risked renewable portfolios.

· Co-development models for joint project development.

· Land-lease solutions for landowners, and farmers.

· Tailored PPAs and Guarantees of Origin for industrial and commercial clients.

For Italian stakeholders, from landowners and municipalities to industrial customers, Uniper is a reliable, experienced, and globally connected partner ready to help shape the next decade of the energy transition.
