Hoymiles to showcase its latest residential solar-storage solutions at KEY – The Energy Transition Expo

Hoymiles, a global clean energy solution provider specialising in module-level inverters and energy storage systems, will attend KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, one of Europe’s flagship events focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency and the energy transition. The exhibition will be held from 4 to 6 March 2026 at the Rimini Expo Centre, in Italy.

Widely regarded as a benchmark event for the renewable energy sector, KEY will bring together more than 1,000 exhibitors, over 30 innovative start-ups, and 500 hosted buyers and international delegations, creating a high-level environment for business development, professional networking and technology exchange. The event has established itself as a strategic meeting point for industry players, policymakers and investors committed to accelerating the global energy transition.

The company provides solutions for DIY, residential, commercial and utility-scale applications and, within the framework of its European expansion strategy, will use KEY as a platform to showcase its latest technological developments aimed at boosting energy independence, system flexibility and operational reliability.

Residential solar-storage innovation at the core of Hoymiles’ presence

Throughout the three-day exhibition, Hoymiles will present its residential solar-storage portfolio from stand D7/116, placing particular emphasis on its newly launched HiOne all-in-one Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The HiOne system integrates the inverter, battery and EMS into a single, compact unit, delivering a true whole-home backup solution. This configuration ensures uninterrupted power supply during grid outages, allowing households to remain fully operational even in blackout scenarios.

Equipped with premium 314Ah battery cells and an advanced cell-level data monitoring system, HiOne combines high safety standards with a lifespan exceeding 8,000 cycles. Through integration with the S-Miles Cloud monitoring APP, users gain real-time visibility and full control over their home energy ecosystem.

Industry-leading performance and efficiency

With a maximum efficiency of 98.5%, HiOne currently delivers the highest performance levels available on the market, optimising power production and energy utilisation. Its design incorporates four MPPTs and 20A MPPT current, enabling support for multiple roof orientations, simplifying system architecture and enhancing installation flexibility.

Future-proof scalability

Addressing one of the main challenges in residential energy storage — battery compatibility — Hoymiles has integrated built-in DC-DC technology and automatic SOC balancing, allowing users to freely combine new and existing battery packs. This enables seamless system expansion and straightforward replacement of faulty units.

The system supports up to eight battery packs per inverter, reaching a maximum parallel capacity of 64 kWh, ensuring adaptability to evolving household energy demands over the long term.

HiOne also incorporates 0 ms backup switching, guaranteeing an ultra-smooth transition during grid outages. This capability allows high-demand inductive loads, such as air conditioners and washing machines, to continue operating without disruption, eliminating flicker or downtime.

AI-driven energy management for maximum savings

To optimise economic performance under time-of-use tariffs, Hoymiles has embedded advanced AI-TOU smart energy management into HiOne. The system supports dynamically analysing electricity price trends, consumption patterns and renewable generation forecasts.

This intelligent scheduling of charging and discharging cycles boosts self-consumption levels while maximising electricity bill savings for homeowners.

In addition to its technical performance, HiOne stands out for its compact and refined design. All wiring is concealed behind a streamlined side grille, delivering a clean, furniture-grade finish.

Compared with conventional systems, HiOne requires 20% less floor space and 50% less wall space, making it particularly well suited for space-constrained urban homes.

A strategic platform for the European energy transition

Hoymiles’ participation in KEY 2026 reflects its commitment to advancing decentralised power generation, energy storage and smart energy management, in line with Europe’s objectives for decarbonisation, energy efficiency and security of supply.

By presenting its latest solar-storage technologies in Rimini, the company aims to strengthen strategic partnerships, expand its European footprint and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the continent’s energy system towards a more sustainable, resilient and digital future.
