LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "LONGi") recently announced that its two key PV module manufacturing facilities in Jiaxing and Chuzhou have achieved Gold certification, the highest level under the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI) Supply Chain Traceability Standard. The two facilities are currently the only PV module manufacturing sites to have achieved this level of certification.

This achievement marks another important step in LONGi's ongoing efforts to advance supply chain transparency and responsible manufacturing, reflecting the company's long-term commitment to strengthening supply chain traceability management.

The SSI Supply Chain Traceability Standard aims to enhance transparency and verifiability across the solar supply chain, providing a framework for assessing material traceability and supply chain management practices. Gold certification confirms that the certified manufacturing facilities have demonstrated verified traceability from finished PV modules back to quartz for a portion of materials. Through a segregated chain-of-custody mechanism combining physical segregation with data linkage, supported by corresponding management processes, companies can further improve the transparency and verifiability of material origins and movements throughout the supply chain. LONGi continues to strengthen its supply chain management systems, internal oversight mechanisms, and traceability requirements across manufacturing processes. By integrating traceability into daily operations, the company aims to provide customers with greater transparency and more reliable product supply.

As supply chain transparency and responsible sourcing become increasingly important across global solar markets, traceability is playing a growing role in how customers assess supply chain reliability. The successful certification of both facilities reflects LONGi's systematic approach to supply chain management and comprehensive process control. The company has established a three-tier management and oversight framework, embedding traceability requirements into manufacturing operations and developing standardized, replicable practices for supply chain traceability management.
